TRAIN

Marriage is like this railroad track.
Once you start, do not turn back.

To make a track, it takes two rails.
When not built right, the track simply fails.

In marriage, there are also two on the team.
When pulling together, they live the dream.

Tracks need to be built as strong as a fort.
The ties are the key for stability and support.

When these ties no longer hold,
It is easy for the track to fold.

As with the track the more weathered we become.
Our ties will also weaken and succumb.

Through resentment and frustration our commitment may falter,
Allowing us to forget the vows shared at the alter.

Time is the switch key for both, I fear.
When neglected, dangers appear.

Please accept the advice I share.
It is never too late to rebuild and repair.

Take time to reconstruct the track with your mate,
Catch a train, go out for some fun, and have a great date!

Relax, let your hair down, and play;
EACH and EVERY single DAY.
